The Sitka Community Land Trust can ensure that your land will be used for the highest purpose: helping young families buy a home and make their lives here in Sitka. Your gift would be tax deductible, but you would also have the pleasure of knowing that you have done something of lasting benefit to your community.

Give Your Time
We would value your time on our board of directors or perhaps a committee.
Please come to a regular monthly meeting and see if there is a way to fit in. Our board meetings are always open to the public.
Our board and committee members are action-oriented volunteers with passion or experience in helping our community find affordable and long-term housing options. Board and committee members can expect to donate up to 5 hours a month.
Current committees are working on: Design, Strategic Development/Fundraising, Administrative, and Homebuyer Selection.

Don’t worry if you have never been a member of a board or committee; we are happy to help you learn the ropes. We aim to involve the people we are serving in running our organization to make sure that the experience, needs, and concerns of our clients are at the center of what we do.
