Mim's background includes successfully running her own business since 1998, in addition to positions as a Baranof KellerWilliams Realty Alaska Group REALTOR®, Welcome Aboard Boat Broker/Owner, and five years employed for a local non-profit as business advisor and project manager. She has served her community by helping to start, and serve as president, an organization seeking to end extreme poverty and hunger and empowering people in Sitka, and decades of experience serving on boards, commissions, assemblies and councils, including serving on regional committees, a Federal council, a national committee and as a City and Borough of Sitka Assembly member and Mayor. She holds a degree from Bradford College and in her spare time enjoys gardening, boating and hiking in the Sitka area and spending time with her husband and the three generations of her family who live there.

Randy earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Vocational-Technical Education from Oregon State University and has substantial experience in the construction industry. He taught construction trades and computer aided design for twenty years in Alaska, serving the remainder of his career in education in technical program development. Most recently he served as project co-manager for the construction of an 8,500-square-foot, $2.9 million addition to the Technical Center at Sitka High School.

JJ was born and raised in Sitka and recently returned after sixteen years in the lower 48 gaining experience in architecture, construction and non-profits. JJ holds an undergraduate degree in environmental design and a master of architecture degree both from Montana State University - Bozeman. She is currently a city assembly member and volunteers for several organizations around town. JJ is happy to be applying her skills to address permanently affordable housing in Sitka.
